Converted to GM LS-1 engines (approx 350HP)
& Tremec 6 speed T56 transmissions.
All maintenance and conversion work performed by a division of
Penske Racing to their usual high standards..

Not a school or series car. Never raced. Only driven by professional drivers as part of the Marlboro Hotlaps Experience.

Penske Panoz GTS/LS!

  • Excellent condition!  Built in mid-2006 with less than 75 hours total time!
  • Full GTS chassis with seamless tubing and all reinforcements and updates to run slicks.
  • Chassis finish upgraded from paint to powder-coating in light gray.
  • Suspension components protected with Polydyn coating.
  • General Motors LS-1 engine with upgraded valve springs, ATI front damper, and timing chain. These engines are powerful and reliable, but they still run on pump gas!
  • Braided stainless oil, fuel & coolant lines with heat wrap.
  • Painless Wiring harness with Perfect MEFI-3 ECU (programmable).
  • Pi System 2 dash display with beacon receiver.
  • Tremec 6 speed T56 transmission with billet shifter assembly
  • Uprated Spec "Stage 2" heavy duty clutch assembly with an annular throw out bearing.
  • Ford 9” rear end with Weaver Brothers external oil pump and cooler.
  • Brembo brakes and Performance Friction pads.
  • Wilwood brake and clutch master cylinders and pedal assembly.
  • Hi-Torque starter
  • Penske adjustable shocks and Aurora brand rod ends and monoballs.
  • Ford Racing 17" X 9" 5 spoke Cobra wheels with Michelin PSA 275/40 high performance tires.
  • Panoz thermoformed plastic bodywork with stainless steel latches.
  • Full lighting system with Hella running and driving lights, dash light and ambient interior lighting.
  • LED tailights and brake lights.
  • Windshield wiper and defroster with heated windshield.
  • Internal dash mounted cooling fan for driver comfort.
  • Carbon fiber "A" post interior vent ducts.
  • Aluminum rear wing.
  • 22 gallon ATL fuel cell with external fill, stop-slosh foam and pickup tank.
  • Adjustable Cobra driver and passenger seats with Schroth 5-point harnesses.
  • Two complete sets of window nets.
  • Complete vehicle history logbook, car cover, & roller stands.
