1997 Panoz AIV Roadster

Panoz AIV Roadster Red (1).JPG

The Panoz AIV Roadster was released in 1996 as the successor to the original Panoz Roadster. The Panoz AIV Roadster featured an extruded aluminum space frame chassis and aluminum bodywork giving the AIV Roadster the distinction of America’s first Aluminum Intensive Vehicle. The AIV Roadster also received a 100bhp increase (320bhp) thanks to an all aluminum Ford Cobra 4.6 liter V8 in addition to upgraded independent suspension, larger brakes, a more spacious interior, and air conditioning. Production of the AIV roadster ran from 1996 until 1999 with a total of 176 cars produced.

This 1997 Panoz AIV Roadster is finished in Red with a black leather interior. Showing less than 3,900 miles from new, this example is in excellent condition. Factory installed options include Silver Roush 18 inch wheels, Nardi steering wheel, AM-FM Radio, and a black canvas top with side curtains and tonneau cover.
